The Facilities
The Colbury Rifle and Pistol Club has an indoor 25 yard range with two firing points. We shoot mainly prone target rifle at 25 yards and standing lightweight sporting rifle at 20 yards.
We offer members the opportunity to enter a wide range of competitions in both disciplines, both local (Southampton area, Alton “eccentric/animals” and Hampshire) and national (NSRA-Eley, West Kent, Cambridgeshire, Newmarket, Civil Service amongst others).
Opening Times & Disciplines
The range is open every weekday evening between 8pm and 10pm.
Monday – “Match” night for Colbury.
Tuesday – mainly prone target rifle shooting.
Wednesday – Novice Night – 1st Wednesday of the month starting 2nd September (19.15 – 21.30) -prone and lightweight sporting rifle shooting
Thursday – mainly lightweight sporting rifle shooting.
Friday – prone and lightweight sporting rifle shooting.
We are currently considering new applications for membership.
